Four evenings of music, theatre and performance!

Edinburgh’s annual festival of new student theatre and performance is back! Join us in Scotland’s only studentr-un theatre to celebrate the ambition, creativity and passion that continually allows us to push the limits of what student theatre can be! Join us for 11 performances, every day from 31 January to 3 February 2024 in the Bedlam Theatre. From nail-biting thrillers to rip-roaring podcast comedy, from reimagined Shakespeare to the freshest of student writing, we have it all, and for a student-friendly price! Interested in music? We’ve got that too! From gig theatre to smooth jazzy jams, we have it all. And of course, we had to finish the week with our dear friends over at Fruit Salad Queer Cabaret.

Fancy getting stuck into something a bit more hands on? Take part in one of our workshops on movement, writing or gig theatre! Get on stage during our Jazz Soc Jazz Jam (Thursday 9pm) or perform a monologue during the Shakespeare Company’s monologue show (Saturday 6pm). Improv peaking your interest? Come down to our workshop with the Improverts! (Saturday 12pm). Can’t get enough of the festival vibe? Drop into our panel on how to get into the Edinburgh Fringe from the students that know it best! (Thursday 6pm)

And if you simply want to relax and enjoy the atmosphere, the theatre’s beloved Fat Cat Cafe will be open from 5pm every day of the festival for a drink or snack. We will be hosting free community meals on Friday and Saturday between 6:30pm and 7:30pm. Sign up for a meal here.
